E-design is exactly as it sounds, an online interior design service where we source + create the designs + equip you with everything you need to manage + implement the project yourself. The aim is to offer a more affordable + accessible interior design service whilst equipping you with the same level of skill + expertise from an interior design professional. If you are on a tighter budget or are happy with a less hands-on approach, compared to our full interior design service, then e-design is the right service for you.

Whether it’s starting from scratch with an empty property, working with existing furniture or simply giving guidance on a corner of your home, Studio fos will work with you to create an interior that encapsulates the soul of the people that live within it. Our e-design service enables you to undertake the re-design of your space at a pace and budget that suits you.

our process.

 

1.

To begin your e-design journey we firstly ask you to complete our online questionnaire. Once we have received this, we will arrange up to an hours call to discuss your requirements, budget and timescales for the project.

2.

Next up, we will ask you to send across measurements of the space (s) so that we have everything needed to begin.

Once payment is received we can make a start on creating a bespoke and timeless design.

3.

Now the exciting bit! You’ll receive your design package which includes digital mood boards + 2D floor plans with suggested layout. We hope it’s not needed but dependent on the chosen package you will now have the opportunity to make amendments.

4.

Last, but by no means least, you'll receive the final design scheme complete with linked retail buying list.

Now…over to you. You can purchase the items at your own pace, as your budget allows. We hope you love your space for years to come.

  • what are your interior design backgrounds?

    Both degree trained + graduating in 2011, Jessica’s degree is in Interior Design + Harriet’s in Textile Design. After stints in other studios, we went on to work together in the same award winning Interior Design studio for 7 years, before founding Studio fos.

  • why use an interior designer?

    Using an interior designer means that you will have access to decades of industry knowledge + will save yourself many hours spent sourcing cohesive products that work in both an aesthetic + functional way.

    This will save you from making costly mistakes + the faff of having to return items that may not work in reality.

    Our professional e-design package uses software to produce 2D visuals of your space, which will help you to visualise your room before you jump in + purchase everything.

  • what type of previous projects have you worked on?

    We have collectively led over 250 projects ranging from family homes + renovations, to multi-million-pound properties across the UK.

    Having worked in a diverse variety of design styles, we have honed our aesthetic but will always ensure that your personal style is at the core of the design.

  • is e-design an entirely remote service?

    Our e-design service can be conducted entirely from the comfort of your own home, which means there is no need to arrange face-to-face appointments. (You can wear your pyjamas on the call + no one would know!)

    If you would prefer an at-home consultation, please get in touch + we can provide a quote for this service. If you would like a more in-depth service, we would point you in the direction of our full design service.

  • how are the furniture + accessories ordered?

    All furniture, accessories + soft furnishings suggested in your e-design package are available on retail sites. We will provide you with clickable links to these items as part of your design pack. This enables you to act as your own project manager + order your scheme as + when suits you, both in terms of budget + timescale.

  • can I make amendments to the finished design?

    We hope that you will love your scheme as much as we do, but understand there may be tweaks to ensure it’s perfect for you.

    Depending on which package you choose, we offer 1 or 2 rounds of revisions to your design. Any further revisions will be an additional cost.

  • what is the approximate timescale for e-design?

    When completing your e-design questionnaire please advise of your ideal timeframe for the project. We can then agree a completion date, where we will always do our best to accommodate your needs. Once the project commences the turnaround time can be as little as two weeks.

  • can you recommend contractors near me?

    We work closely with a number of trades within the South West, so depending on your location + the works required, we are able to make some recommendations on contractors. Please note that we are not affiliated with these companies.
